Wave Championship Funboard 2008 in the Medano!
Last weekend starts the second event of the Spanish Wave Championship Funboard 2008 in the Medano, Tenerife island.
The inscription on Friday morning with 32 raiders of high level in the start line, but the light wind conditions did not permitted the start of the competition that is only for a little training.
Very early on Saturday the constant wind of 25-30 knots for sails of 4,5 to 4,7 and wave of 1 to1 1/2 mts give the start to the event.
Four riders arrive to the final of the single elimination:
Dani Bruch, Marcos Perez and the Sanllehy brothers.
This battle is very hard with beautifull jumps where Dani Bruch
E-181 (F-2/Gaatra) take the first place, Marcos Perez E-7 ( Exocet/Gun) the second, Aleix Sanllehy CAT-555 (North Sails / F-2) the thrird place and Eric Sanllehy CAT-1111( North Sails / F-2) the fourth position
After the double elimination the final result is similar to the single, where Dani Bruch is the Winner!

4.- Christofer Ferreretto E-99
