Paulo dos Reis dominated the prestigious South American Championships by
winning all six races in a wide variety of conditions. No matter if it was light wind or strong wind, Paulo used his exceptional board speed to
dominate the strong field that included the likes of previous South American
Champions Gonzalo Costa Hoevel and Wilhelm Schurmann.
Paulo has been on fire since the beginning of the year first winning the Alex Caviglia regatta in Miami and now the South American Championships. He
has been using the new redesigned Warp F2010 which features only 7 battens
and some innovative shaping techniques which have made the sail much lighter in the hands and increased its' range in both the upper and bottom ends.
The South American Championships saw an interesting range of wind conditions in some very choppy and challenging waters. Paulo had no issues with the conditions and glided smoothly and easily to victories in every race.
Keep a lookout for Paulo in the upcoming MidWinters event in Cocoa Beach
Florida and also the Formula Worlds scheduled after in Mendoza, Argentina.
