YOUNG BLOOD CAMP - Planetsurf, Fanatic, North Sails & ION
From August 17th till 22nd 2007 (arrival & coaching already from August 14th,
departure August 23rd) Planet Windsurfing, Fanatic, North Sails and ION will organise an International Young Blood Freestyle Camp at the Planet Windsurfing Center Dahab/Hotel Swiss.
A highly qualified trainer team with Freestyle Pro Yoli de Brendt (V-26), Tom Brendt (G-696) and Aly Sabri (doctor and official coach of the Int. Fanatic and North Sails Windsurfing Pro Team as well as the German Freestyle Ski Team) will look after the
competitors and show them all kind of tricks and moves on the water as well as on the beach.
Special guest stars will be our Freestyle World Champion 2006 Gollito Estredo (V-01) and the Italian Freestyle Champ 2006 Filippo Buratti (ITA-717) . With 17 years Gollito is the youngest World Cup Champ ever and for sure somebody to watch and learn from! Gollito will be an active part of the camp and will help and motivate the participants to try new moves! Craig Gertenbach (Fanatic Brand Manager and former World Cup Pro) will also be present to answer all questions in terms of sponsoring, professional contest preparation, etc.. Of course he will also keep an eye on the Gollito Estredo´s of tomorrow as possible talents for the Fanatic and North Sails Windsurf teams.
The main goal of the camp is the further development in terms of Freestyle moves.
Youngsters from all countries should enjoy their enthusiasm for windsurfing together.

Max. participants: 20 people (first come first serve!)
Requirements: Water start and planning abilities (in foot straps). The age limit for the participants is 16 years, children under 16 must travel with their parents.
Schedule:
- Learn new moves & tricks
- Improve your technique and style
- Heat simulation
- Learn how to prepare for heats/competition
- Photo shoot, video
- Fitness (how to train right, gymnastics, stretching, etc.)
- The right nutrition for sport and competitive athletes
- Concentration and optimal training through body awareness
- How to work with media and sponsors
Goal:
The most talented participant will get a national sponsorship for one year at least with equipment of Fanatic, North Sails & ION!
Costs:
- Camp fee per person: € 220,--
The camp fee includes:
- Transfer from and to the airport
- 24 hours care with our team
- Storage of windsurfing equipment
- Intensive und professional windsurf training
- 1 Young Blood Event T-Shirt & 1 Sun Cap
- Possible “no wind activities†like beach volleyball, trips to town, etc..
Not included are:
- Accommodation in double rooms (24 Euro per person incl. half board (breakfast and dinner), rooms with sea view would be 4 Euro
