Orjan Jensen (North Sails) wins the Canarian Wave Rider Tour

Lanzarote 2ndreef Canarian Wave Rider.




Wednesday night I was on the Ferry from Gran Canaria to Lanzarote siting thinking about the good forcast and this really nice pointbrake at Jameos beach. After 2 first places in this tour I could seal the tour victory with a good result in Lanzarote so I tried to make a plan how to beat the strong locals on this special beatch. I arrived at Jameos 7 o´clock. There were mast high waves and wind for 4.7 m2 with the rising tide. I got out my new North Sail Ego, these sails were perfect for the conditions. Warming up in the water waiting for the organizers and the rest of the sailors. Conditions were realy good. A real surfer wave.
By the time the competetion got started there was high tide and the condition droped a bit but still logo high and overpower 4.7m2.




I felt good on the water and my north sail Ego helped me all the way to victory.
Super happy after winning with only locals behind me untill 5th place. This shows how strong the locals are on this beatch

Now the next and the last competetion is in Tenerife El Medano next weekend. Stay tuned for results next sunday
